Customer Reviews
Daily kitchen staple now
Using this every single day for the past two weeks — holds up well to chopping vegetables and doesn't stain easily. Oiled it once as suggested and it looks brand new.
Verified PurchaseGood thickness
Nice and thick, doesn't slide around on the counter. Slight smell of wood initially but that went away after a wash and air dry.
Verified PurchaseBeautiful and functional
Doubles as a serving board for cheese nights. The handle cutout makes it easy to hang up when not in use. Very happy with this purchase.

The Story Behind
Made once.
Loved forever.
“No two pieces are the same. Minor variations in grain and tone are not imperfections — they are the fingerprint of human hands.”
This Chef's Chopping Board begins as a single piece of sustainably harvested acacia wood from the forests of India. Our master artisans — with 400 years of woodcraft heritage — select only wood with the finest grain patterns before a single cut is made.
The hand-carving process takes 2–3 days per piece. No two are identical. Minor variations in grain, tone, and texture are not imperfections — they are proof of handcraft, and they are what make your piece uniquely yours.

Why Acacia Wood?
Durability
Mango and Sheesham wood rank among the hardest tropical hardwoods — built to last generations with proper care.
Grain Beauty
Every piece shows a unique swirl and pattern. No machine can replicate what nature and an artisan's chisel create together.
Sustainability
We source only from managed forests and use wood from trees that have already served their primary purpose — reducing waste.
Our Commitment
Craft that cares.
Every Designer Library piece supports a living wage for our master artisans. We use natural, food-safe finishes. Our packaging is 100% recycled and plastic-free. A portion of every sale goes toward the Artisan Welfare Fund.
