Accepted Answer

Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade the finish over time. For pieces finished with natural oil, re-apply food-safe wood oil once every 6-12 months to maintain the lustre. Never submerge wooden items in water.

Yes — every piece is handcrafted by master artisans in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the wood-craft capital of India. Each item carries subtle variations in grain, colour, and texture that are the hallmarks of genuine handmade craftsmanship. No two pieces are identical.

We offer free shipping on all orders above ₹999 across India. Orders below this threshold carry a flat shipping fee. Express and same-day delivery options are available in select cities — you can check availability at checkout by entering your pincode.

What is your return and exchange policy?

Accepted Answer

We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery for items that arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from the listing. Please photograph the issue and contact us at returns@designerlibrary.in. As each piece is handcrafted, minor natural variations in wood grain and finish are not considered defects.

Are the products food-safe for kitchen use?

Accepted Answer

Products marked 'Food-Safe Lacquer' or 'Natural Oil' finish are safe for contact with dry foods. Wooden bowls, trays, and boards carry a non-toxic, food-grade finish. We recommend hand-washing with mild soap and not leaving the pieces submerged in water.
