Getting it to you

We ship handcrafted pieces across India from our studio in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Choose the option that suits you at checkout — your available methods are confirmed once you enter your pincode.

Dispatch: Orders placed before 2pm (Mon–Sat) are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed later, or on Sundays and public holidays, ship the next business day.

Coverage: We deliver to 700+ cities across all 29 states through our logistics partners. A small number of remote pincodes may carry slightly longer timelines, which we'll flag at checkout.

As soon as your order is dispatched, we'll send a tracking link by SMS and email. You can also follow your order anytime under My Account → Orders.

Because each piece is handmade, made-to-order items may take a little longer to leave our workshop — the expected dispatch window is always shown on the product page and in your confirmation email.

We want you to love your piece. If something isn't right, you can return most items within 30 days of delivery.

• Condition: Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
• Damaged in transit: Eligible for a full refund or replacement with a photo — no return required.
• Changed your mind: A flat ₹50 reverse-shipping fee is deducted from your refund.
• Exchanges: Tell us what you'd like instead and we'll ship the replacement as soon as we receive the original.

Please note that subtle variations in wood grain, colour, and texture are natural hallmarks of handmade craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

1. Email returns@designerlibrary.in with your order number and reason for return (a photo helps for damage claims).
2. We'll arrange a pickup within 2 business days at no extra cost for damaged or defective items.
3. Pack the piece in its original packaging and hand it to our courier.
4. Once we receive and inspect it, your refund is initiated within 24 hours.

Refunds are processed to your original payment method through Razorpay, our secure payment gateway.

• Initiation: Within 24 hours of us receiving and approving the returned item.
• UPI / cards / net banking: 5–7 business days to reflect, depending on your bank.
• Cash on Delivery orders: Refunded via bank transfer or UPI to details you provide — also within 5–7 business days.

If a payment failed but money was deducted, your bank automatically reverses the amount within 5–7 business days. Reach out if you don't see it and we'll trace it with Razorpay.

For hygiene and craft reasons, a few items can't be returned:

• Custom, personalised, or made-to-measure pieces.
• Gift cards and promotional vouchers.
• Items marked “Final Sale” at the time of purchase.

If a non-returnable item arrives damaged or defective, you're still fully covered — contact us and we'll make it right.
